It's a theory.. none of it has ever been proven. My friends, it's called the History channel. Did you know if an object is traveling at speeds higher than that of light, then the speed of time will bend around it? :)
Before this goes any farther, have any of you been close to the speed of light? No? Then how do you know these things? You take other people's words for it? You do realize that these are all theories and Einstein himself realized that it could all just be bullshit, right?

First of all, how would you even be able to see the bullet if it's faster than light? In addition, you would not even be able to shoot a gun in space. There is no oxygen for ignition. Secondly, just because some articles in Wikipedia may be carelessly edited does not mean it is all a complete fabrication. I trust Wikipedia as much as I trust a friend, because both were raised under the idea that it takes a village to raise a child; my point is that average people have almost as much influence on the media and on each other as they do on Wikipedia, and that even the most credited articles written by the most learned of scholars or doctors have the opportunity to be proven wrong at some point, even the Theory of Relativity. (For the record, I am not a religious fanatic, and, for purposes of "credibility" and "proof" of sanity, I will not point out what it is that I do believe in.)
It's not impossible for something to travel at the speed of light: light travels at the speed of light. Special Relativity implies that a massive object (i.e., m>0) cannot accelerate from sublight to superlight speeds. It is possible, however, for something to always be travelling at superlight speeds (i.e., a tachyon).
wikipedia fails there is no possible way to travel at or above the speed of light however it may seem like something may be traveling faster than light it is untrue (ex. shooting a gun while traveling slightly under the speed of light in a space ship the bullet appears to be going above the speed of light but in reality it is traveling much slower)
