Actually, "kneecap" isn't the name of the bone. It's "patella." Get a clue.

I hope you realize you just proved yourself wrong. Ossification is the process of cartilage turning to bone. Kneecap is the name of a bone, not a name of cartilage. So the cartilage is present at 4 months, not the bone.
